Privacy Notice

This notice explains how we handle the personal data you share when you fill in the contact form on kaptekmedya.com or email us, as required by Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). The Turkish version is the governing text.

1. Data controller

Your personal data is processed by Yusuf Tekin and Emre Kaplan, who work together under the KapTek Medya brand (“KapTek”, “we”), as data controllers. You can reach us at kaptekmedya@gmail.com.

2. What we process

• Brand / campaign requests: your name, company name, email address and whatever you write in the campaign details field.
• Creator applications: your name, email address, social media profile links and whatever you write in the short note field.
• Technical details: which page and language the form was sent from. Our hosting and form providers may process connection records such as your IP address to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

Please don’t share sensitive information (health data, ID numbers, etc.) that your request doesn’t need.

3. Why we process it

• To evaluate your request or application and get back to you,
• To prepare a campaign proposal and, if we work together, to handle the contract,
• For creator applications, to assess whether your profile fits upcoming campaigns.

We never use your data for bulk marketing messages, and we never sell it.

4. How we collect it and on what legal basis

We collect your data electronically and automatically, through the contact form on our website or by email. The legal bases under KVKK Article 5(2) are:

• (c): processing is directly related to entering into or performing a contract (proposals and collaboration requests),
• (f): our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, provided it doesn’t harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.

5. Who we share it with

To be able to reply, we pass form submissions only to the infrastructure providers we use:

• form delivery (Web3Forms),
• email (Google),
• website hosting and security (Cloudflare).

These providers’ servers are located outside Türkiye, so your data is transferred abroad under KVKK Article 9. If your creator application fits a campaign, your profile details are shared with the brand only with your consent. Otherwise, data is disclosed only when legally required by authorised public bodies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data for up to 1 year after your request or application is concluded. If we work together, the retention periods required by law apply. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11, you have the right to:

1. learn whether your personal data is processed,
2. request information about it if so,
3. learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
4. know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom it is transferred,
5. request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
6. request deletion or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Article 7,
7. request that corrections, deletions and destructions are notified to the third parties it was transferred to,
8. object to an outcome against you that results solely from automated analysis,
9. claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

8. Cookies

This site does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Your language choice is stored only in your own browser (local storage) and is never sent to us. Visit counts may be measured with a cookieless tool that doesn’t identify you. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies for security.
